Artificial Intelligent Driving Agent (AIDA) Does More Than Just A Robot

MIT researchers are working on a project that will help drivers out there get more than just an integrated car-GPS to avoid a traffic. Almost all cars have this kind of technology, but none can provide a more complete information that every driver would possibly want for a safer and easier driving in a very appealing and kind manner.

Meet AIDA, the artificial intelligent driving agent that provides drivers with a friendly and emotionally-packed suggestions or hints on wearing seatbelt, a better route to avoid congestion, different favorite places that the driver regularly goes out everyday, every month like grocery stores, school or office.

AIDA also monitors the fuel level of the car, so that when one forgets to check it, she will simply gesture a reminder to go to the nearest gasoline station. The robot is a rounded, wedge head and a neck which allows for freedom of movement. The design is to fit AIDA onto the car's dashboard.

AIDA also determines the mood of the driver, so when he's angry and tensed while driving, AIDA will show a pleading look (with browse lowered and eyes looked sad). Who would not be convinced that she's the perfect driving companion?
