T-MAX 2.5 and water. Why is electric preferred for mudding and driving through water rather than Nitro?

rulekeeper30 asked:

OK I'm the guy who likes to take his toys through mud and water and all kinds of crap. Is there any waterproof servos I can buy or do I just need to use silicone? I've taken it through allot of water and stuff without screwing up anything but I know I'm going too at some point. Every time I look it up on Youtube there is always a comment that says, "Well you just messed up your entire truck dumb a**." And then they always recommend an electric one. Why would the electric one be better in water? Last time I checked electric things don't go too well with water. And I've completely submerged my ATV and it was fine :-P
