Build Your Own Robot: Start with Bristlebot!

This may sound funny to many hardcore robot makers, but this i bet, is the most basic and the easiest way to build your own robot. For starters, this simple guide will help you create your own simple robot and inspire you to start making more complex ones.
A bristlebot is a tiny, vibrating robot with a simple use. It is the counterpart of the popular vibrobot. Now to make your own bristlebot, first, you need a head of a toothbrush with angled bristles, a 3-volts watch battery, a pager motor, and some adhesive tapes.
Next, cut the head of a toothbrush. Put an adhesive tape on it. Hook or solder two copper wire leads into the pager motor terminals. Attach these wires to the battery. Depending on the type of battery, you can place the battery in two ways, either by standing or flat placements . Mount this set-up on the toothbrush head with the tape. Voila! your bristlebot is done!
You can use your bristlebot to sweep your desk off from dusts or bread crumbs. If you like, you can watch this tutorial video to guide you.
