New Military Robot Powered by Organic Materials

Allegedly, this upcoming Military Robot designed by Robotics Technoloy Inc. for the Pentagon was tagged as flesh-eating. Numerous reports flood the internet and the news, that it feeds on dead bodies of soldiers. However, the reports were proved wrong as RTI clarified the issue, that it only consumes organic materials that are sources of fuel.
EATR short for Energetically Autonomous Tactical Robot, is powered by a Waste Heat engine developed by Cyclone (Cyclone Power Technologies Inc.) which "extracts energy from biomass in the environment (and other organically-based energy sources), as well as use conventional and alternative fuels (such as gasoline, heavy fuel, kerosene, diesel, propane, coal, cooking oil, and solar) when suitable," RTI.
The "vegetarian" robot platform is designed for Pentagon to build anything on. It can be used as a transport, an ambulance, a communications center, even a mobile gunship.
The main purpose for this project is to "develop and demonstrate an autonomous robotic platform able to perform long-range, long-endurance missions without the need for manual or conventional re-fueling, which would otherwise preclude the ability of the robot to perform such missions", adds RTI.
